Wrong Place, Right Time (Bourbon Street Boys #2) – Elle Casey

Wrong Place, Right Time is the second edition of the Bourbon Street Boys book series.  When I received this book from NetGalley, the entire series interested me, so I also downloaded the Bourbon Street Boys #1 from Kindle Unlimited (review pending).  Both books didn’t disappoint. Continue reading “Wrong Place, Right Time (Bourbon Street Boys #2) – Elle Casey”

Infinite Desire (Across the Stars #1) – India Masters

Infinite Desire (Across the Stars #1) came out on June 22nd for…$0.99!!  It’s a steal for the journey that India Masters takes you on when you read it.  This is a paranormal erotica so strongly suggest that readers are 18+ years old. Continue reading “Infinite Desire (Across the Stars #1) – India Masters”

Shut Out (Bayard Hockey #1)- Kelly Jamieson

I’ve been following Kelly Jamieson’s books.  I really enjoy the sexiness of her writing, that mixes nicely with the romance and the sweetness of the couple.  Her males are hot, the females are relatable.  However, this one missed the mark a little for me. Continue reading “Shut Out (Bayard Hockey #1)- Kelly Jamieson”

The Trouble with Temptation (The McKays #2) – Shiloh Walker

The Trouble with Temptation (The McKays #2) by Shiloh Walker almost got me into trouble. I started this late at night and fell asleep with the iPad on my face, I’m guessing around 4am. The next day, I thought, ‘Just one more chapter.’ I was late for work. It was so tempting to read all day and call in sick. Guess that’s why it’s trouble and temptation! (I know, totally corny, but I couldn’t help it.) Continue reading “The Trouble with Temptation (The McKays #2) – Shiloh Walker”

Casey’s Warriors (Bondmates #1) – Ann Mayburn

Casey’s Warriors (Bondmates #1) by Ann Mayburn is a definite for fans of paranormal and erotica.  Warning, as with all of the Ann Mayburn books that I’ve read, it’s for 18+ mature audiences who do not mind a few multiple male partners, voyeurism, or MM scenes.

Ann Mayburn created an alien world, Kadothia, where matriarchy is celebrated and men are there to protect the women.  In fact, just to survive, men NEED to connect to a female or risk going insane.  However, women are rare in their world, so a female is expected to “connect” with multiple men.  Somehow a wormhole is opened between Earth and Kadothia, allowing alien males to land on Earth and search for their soul mates to bring back home. Continue reading “Casey’s Warriors (Bondmates #1) – Ann Mayburn”

SEAL My Home (SEAL Brotherhood #9) – Sharon Hamilton

I will be totally frank – this book was not entirely for me.  I expected more romance with a SEAL rather than a military story with a side of romance.  Almost half way through, I was about to stop reading but I wanted to give it a shot.  It was rated 4.31 out of 5 stars on Goodreads so there must have been something that I missed. Continue reading “SEAL My Home (SEAL Brotherhood #9) – Sharon Hamilton”

Enticing Emma (Summersville Secrets #2) – NJ Walters

Enticing Emma (Summersville Secrets #2) is another fun and steamy read by NJ Walters. I love how she’s using these sexy character types – in #1 we had the librarian and the handyman. This time, we have the tough independent businesswoman and the sexy alpha male next door. Continue reading “Enticing Emma (Summersville Secrets #2) – NJ Walters”

Awakened (Eternal Guardians #8) – Elisabeth Naughton

Awakened (Eternal Guardians #8) by Elisabeth Naughton jumps 25 years after #1 and follows Elysia, the daughter of Isadora and Demetrius (#3).   Continue reading “Awakened (Eternal Guardians #8) – Elisabeth Naughton”

Taken Home (Lone Star Burn #3) – Ruth Cardello

Taken Home (Lone Star Burn #3) by Ruth Cardello was a sweet romance between a small town girl and a big time senator. I’ve read a couple of Ruth Cardello’s books and remember that they were super sweet stories, lots of romance and happy endings.   Both books were part of a series, but could be read independently as a stand alone, so I didn’t hesitate to read this book even though it was already third in the series. Continue reading “Taken Home (Lone Star Burn #3) – Ruth Cardello”
